I love it when they tell me how much they love my work

A customer fell in love with my blossom kids baby dolls.
She said "these are so beautiful and adorable. My daughter is 1 and hard rubber/plastic dolls just aren't for her! These are so affordable, I just had to buy both!!! Are you coming out with anymore?"

I did tell her that I would be making more.

She said "I saved one doll for my daughter for Christmas. I gave her the pink one and she LOVES it. She has never liked a doll so much. They are perfect. You can tell in the pics that she is in love. Thank you so much. This is Berkley

Thank you for making something that she loves! I can't wait until you make more! I saved the blue one for Christmas!!! SHe has never taken to a doll like this. This is also the first time I have said "where's your baby, get your baby" and she walked around the house until she found it, picked it up and hugged it!!! So, I knew then that she was comprehending what I was telling her!!! I was so excited I got it on a video!!!

When I received this email from a customer, it made my day I had tears in my eyes, I am not sure if anyone knows how it feels, but when you put a lot of love in to what you love making and someone tells you, and sends you pictures, it its a wonderful feeling. I made this little girls baby doll that she will cherish for a long time.
I hope everyone enjoyed reading my story.

Punch bowl cake

I know this has nothing to do with any of my Etsy shops, But it has to do with my handmade creations. I would like to share the best of the best recipe that I have been making for almost 20 years. When I go to a party this is what they want me to make. I usually will make a double batch because it goes so fast. OK this is what you will need.

1 box of Duncan Hines butter recipe cake mix "get what ever you need to make the cake"
1 large box of instant vanilla pudding "get what ever you need to make the pudding"
1 large tub of cool whip
1 can of crushed pineapple
1 can of cherry pie filling
5 strawberries
A punch bowl

Prepare the cake according to box direction.
Let it cool down, about an hour.
while the cake is cooling, prepare the vanilla pudding according to box directions. Refrigerate for an hour.
when the cake has cooled down you are going to crumble the cake, I use my clean hands.
Next you will need the punch bowl, take 1/2 of the crumbled cake and put it in the punchbowl.
Add 1/2 of the vanilla pudding making sure you spread it all over the crumbled cake, add half of the crushed pine apple even the juice, spreading it all over the pudding.
Add 1/2 of the can of Cherri pie filling, spread that all around. Add 1/2 of the tub of cool whip.
So now you have formed the first layers.
Now you will do the same layers again spreading it all around using the rest of the ingredients.
crumbled cake, vanilla pudding, crushed pineapple cherry pie filling, and cool whip.

Now you are going to slice the strawberry's to forms petals that you will put on top of the cake for garnishing. I form the petals into flowers.
and that's it. Put the cake in the fridge for a few hours to chill to let all the flavors explode into each other. I usually if we can stand it, leave it over night then serve it.

So there you have it. Oh by the way, you will not stop eating it!

Enjoy!

Sorry I had to add some of my new creations!

Just have to share my new display

I am doing a show this weekend, and I needed a new display for my sock monkeys. Michelle from craftinator craftinator had some great ideas for me. She came over and we came up with this.
We created a tree for the monkeys to hang. And we also made a small bed for the 5 monkeys jumping on the bed. Please tell me what you think if you get a chance to read this post.

I also wanted to share some of my new doll creations. From Dulces Creations

Living on the edge.

Living on the edge that's my life. I have been laid off for a year now. The only income I have is from my etsy shop. It helps pay for some of my bills, but its never enough. I am always making new things and hoping someone would discover my talent and buy from me. I wish I had other ways to spread the word that I have something for them. I have opened 2 shops in hopes to get noticed. I sell Sock monkeys and dolls. If ever you run across my shops please give me a shout, and tell me what you like. If you really really want it please buy it and help me out. Living on the edge is not fun. So for now I will share my talent for you to look at, if you see that it makes you happy, and you want it a lot please have me reserve it for you untill you can afford it.
