Punch bowl cake

I know this has nothing to do with any of my Etsy shops, But it has to do with my handmade creations. I would like to share the best of the best recipe that I have been making for almost 20 years. When I go to a party this is what they want me to make. I usually will make a double batch because it goes so fast. OK this is what you will need.

1 box of Duncan Hines butter recipe cake mix "get what ever you need to make the cake"
1 large box of instant vanilla pudding "get what ever you need to make the pudding"
1 large tub of cool whip
1 can of crushed pineapple
1 can of cherry pie filling
5 strawberries
A punch bowl

Prepare the cake according to box direction.
Let it cool down, about an hour.
while the cake is cooling, prepare the vanilla pudding according to box directions. Refrigerate for an hour.
when the cake has cooled down you are going to crumble the cake, I use my clean hands.
Next you will need the punch bowl, take 1/2 of the crumbled cake and put it in the punchbowl.
Add 1/2 of the vanilla pudding making sure you spread it all over the crumbled cake, add half of the crushed pine apple even the juice, spreading it all over the pudding.
Add 1/2 of the can of Cherri pie filling, spread that all around. Add 1/2 of the tub of cool whip.
So now you have formed the first layers.
Now you will do the same layers again spreading it all around using the rest of the ingredients.
crumbled cake, vanilla pudding, crushed pineapple cherry pie filling, and cool whip.

Now you are going to slice the strawberry's to forms petals that you will put on top of the cake for garnishing. I form the petals into flowers.
and that's it. Put the cake in the fridge for a few hours to chill to let all the flavors explode into each other. I usually if we can stand it, leave it over night then serve it.

So there you have it. Oh by the way, you will not stop eating it!

Enjoy!

Sorry I had to add some of my new creations!
